The regular ABT Audi RS7 Legacy Edition is already rare and special, but this one cranks that pricey package up to 11.
On its own accord, the Audi RS7 is a pretty impressive machine – one that looks as good as it goes. After all, the 2024 version of the sporty machine packs a twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that cranks out 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, catapulting the sleek coupe from a standstill to illegal speeds in short order. However, ABT also debuted the all-new Audi RS7 Legacy Edition last summer, a limited-edition, higher-performance variant that’s even more capable, though that apparently wasn’t enough for the owner of this example featured in a recent video from the YouTube channel RoCars.
The ABT Audi RS7 Legacy Edition – limited to just 200 total units of production worldwide – was created to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of that hot sedan, and is equipped with upgraded turbos built in-house, along with a bigger intercooler, which lifts output up to 760 horsepower and 723 pound-feet of torque. However, this example has received even more upgrades, which results in a cool 1,000 horsepower and 1,150 nM (848 pound-feet) of torque.
According to ABT, that upgrade results in some truly impressive performance figures – 0-62 mph takes a mere 3.0 seconds flat, with a top speed just one tick slower than 200 mph – making the Audi RS7 Legacy Edition the very definition of super saloon. As we get a nice dose of in this clip, the car sounds absolutely amazing as well, with that boosted V8 barking loudly through its exhaust pipes and making glorious notes throughout the entire rev range.
As one might imagine, the Audi RS7 Legacy Edition also touts various other notable upgrades, including adjustable coilovers, beefier sway bars, 22-inch wheels, and a full-blown carbon fiber body kit complete with a new front splitter, side skirts, and a big rear wing, coupled with some limited-edition badging. The interior also gets niceties like new door sills, fancy Dinamica material in various places, and a unique Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a red marker.
The only downside to the Audi RS7 Legacy Edition – as one might have guess by now – is its price. ABT charges customers €102,600 (around $114,800 USD) for the package, which doesn’t include the donor car or installation. That’s obviously a lot of coin for a modest boost in output, and we don’t even know how much this more powerful example cost to put together. However, if you want the ultimate RS7 that exists on earth, we can confidently declare that this is the one – at least for now.
